DEAR BEACHCOMBER
I want the beach.
How do I keep it?
The oyster the coral the sea-anenome are stuck at the beach. If I want to keep them, I need to imitate their conditions, exactly, or, I could transform them into something more portable, like say a painting. A painting is made of pigments and binder on cotton to imitate the way we see light reflecting from the object. As a painting, the oyster the coral the sea-anenome are portable now, like the mind is portable, travelling across space and time. The painted image is much more like the mind than the beach.
A painting is a mirror of the mind's beach.
How do I mirror the oyster, the coral, the sea-anenome's beach?
Yours Truly,
The Artist
